<[Do you ever feel out of place?]>
<[Like somehow you just don't belong]>
<[And no one understands you]>
<[Do you ever want to run away?]>
<[Do you lock yourself in your room?]>
<[With the radio on turned up so loud]>
<[That no one hears you screaming]>
<[No you don't know what it's like]>

<[You don't know what it's like]>
<[To be like me]>

<[To be hurt, to feel lost]>
<[To be left out in the dark]>
<[To be kicked when you're down]>
<[To feel like you've been pushed around]>
<[To be on the edge of breaking down]>
<[And no one's there to save you]>
<[No you don't know what it's like]>

Sunday, August 07, 2005 hilo ppl, remember saturday? so fun! it was flag day! we sold flags as a big school community seperated into different shifts.. my class was in the 2nd slot of the day which was from 9.30-3.I enjoyed my flag day very much as i saw so many kind- hearted ppl putting their money into my donation bag.I also took notice of the wallets they have carried-some were so compact&cute.I ask myself at that point of time. "How can they stuff so much money into that puny wallet?" Nevertheless, the wallets are still put to good use.I found a very good location at e other side of e mrt station..As i waited for ppl to pass by,i saw some people just walking in another direction, trying to avoid putting money into my bag. However, the majority of S'poreans still tried their best to donate.I've come across a very old couple.Surprisingly, they donate into my bag again.Curious about the place here as it is my 1st time in Tanjong Pagar,i asked some ppl what they come here for. They replied they are either here to work or here to buy food from the nearest food centre. While i walk nearer to the food centre,i passed by ppl who are so willing to give. They just suddenly pop out from nowhere&put the money into my bag.So cool & shocking... haha! I saw so many ppl,i ask some of them what is the most famous here as it is going to be lunch time. They recommend so many things that are nice to eat that i feel so confused on what to eat. Then after a few hours,i saw the old couple walking pass me holding onto a packet of things.Old curious me, i ask the same question.N guess wat!they said everything is nice to eat& tat i should have told them to buy for me if im hungry.haha!so caring of them.Another indian showed his concern by asking if i had my lunch,i ans no.He told me it is time to take care of myself already. This is so astonishing as rarely a person will ask if one had lunch already. After lunch,i told sherlyn the good place. We both felt glad tat our donation bag is increasing in weight. After a long day,our hands&bodies ache. Im really glad that God has placed a good heart in everyone tat ppl will give.Truly," it is more blessed to give than to receive". Good nitez! |
